1. What we collect1. ما الذي نجمعه

• When you apply to volunteer: your name and email (required), and optionally your phone number, province, city, the ways you can help, the time you can give and a short message. Applications are never published. • Security: to prevent spam and abuse, we use Cloudflare's security check (Turnstile) and keep a one-way coded (hashed) version of IP addresses for failed admin logins and to stop the same letter being counted many times. We count visits anonymously, without cookies: we store only the date, the visitor's country (as reported by Cloudflare), and a one-way code made from the IP address and browser that changes every day and is deleted within 2 days. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser remembers your language choice and whether you already used the letter tool, on your device only. Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare under the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.الأمان: لمنع الرسائل المزعجة وإساءة الاستخدام، نستخدم أداة التحقق الأمني من Cloudflare (Turnstile)، ونحتفظ بنسخة مشفّرة باتجاه واحد من عناوين IP لمحاولات الدخول الفاشلة إلى لوحة الإدارة، ولمنع احتساب الرسالة نفسها مرات كثيرة. نحصي الزيارات دون ملفات تعريف (Cookies) ودون معرفة هوية الزائر: نحفظ فقط التاريخ، ودولة الزائر كما تحددها Cloudflare، ورمزًا مشفّرًا باتجاه واحد من عنوان IP والمتصفح يتغير كل يوم ويُحذف خلال يومين. لا نستخدم ملفات تتبع أو إعلانات. يتذكر متصفحك اختيارك للغة، وما إذا كنت استخدمت أداة الرسائل، على جهازك فقط. تقدّم Cloudflare أداة Turnstile وفق ملحق خصوصية Turnstile.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, immigration file numbers (UCI), passports, legal documents, or details about your case.لا نطلب منك، ونرجو ألا ترسل لنا، أرقام ملفات الهجرة (UCI) أو جوازات السفر أو أي مستندات قانونية أو تفاصيل عن ملفك.

2. How we use it2. كيف نستخدمها

• To send you updates and calls to action about this initiative (only if you consented).لإرسال أخبار المبادرة ودعوات المشاركة إليك (فقط إذا وافقت).
• To show the total number of supporters. We only publish the number, never your name or email.لعرض العدد الإجمالي للمؤيدين. ننشر العدد فقط، ولا ننشر اسمك أو بريدك أبدًا.

We may share aggregate numbers (for example, "300 supporters in 20 cities") with decision-makers. Our website and database run on Cloudflare, and our emails are sent through Resend. These providers may store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. • You allow Yemeni Canadian to publish it on this website, translate it between Arabic and English, and share it with Members of Parliament, government offices and organizations for this initiative.تسمح لمبادرة "اليمنيون في كندا" بنشرها على هذا الموقع، وترجمتها بين العربية والإنجليزية، ومشاركتها مع أعضاء البرلمان والجهات الحكومية والمنظمات لأغراض المبادرة.
• Every story is reviewed before publishing. We may shorten it, remove identifying details for your safety, or decline to publish it. We do not edit its meaning. • Important: publishing details about your personal situation may have consequences for your immigration case. Our WhatsApp channel is a one-way channel for news and updates about the initiative. Followers cannot post, and WhatsApp does not show your phone number to other followers. 7. Who speaks for us & volunteer conduct7. من يتحدث باسم المبادرة، وسلوك المتطوعين

• Official voice: the initiative speaks only through this website, its official email ([email protected]) and its official WhatsApp channel. Only content published there, or a letter signed in the initiative's name by its representative, reflects the initiative's position.الصوت الرسمي: لا تتحدث المبادرة إلا عبر هذا الموقع، وبريدها الرسمي ([email protected])، وقناتها الرسمية على واتساب. لا يمثّل موقف المبادرة إلا ما يُنشر هناك، أو خطاب يوقّعه ممثلها باسمها.
• Everyone else speaks for themselves: supporters, members, volunteers and story authors speak in their own name. • Peaceful and lawful only: the initiative supports only peaceful, respectful and lawful advocacy.
